“A really lovely, small gallery in Dulwich Village (20mins walk from the flat, or catch the P4 bus from Sunray Avenue) The Gallery owns one of the finest collections of Old Master paintings in the world especially rich in French, Italian and Spanish Baroque paintings and in British portraits from Tudor times to the 19th century. “This and the other restaurants at The Shard are great options. You can pop in for just a drink, or you can visit for meals and/or afternoon tea. I'm soon to visit for the Mary Poppins themed afternoon tea and very excited! You can pay to go The View From The Shard, but to me, it's better to sit and have a lovely drink a few floors down - it's cheaper and still has a fab view! ”

“Traditional café, particularly popular for breakfast. Full of character, good food and reasonably priced. It’s appeared in numerous movies and TV shows (Layer Cake, Pride, Rocketman to name but a few). Don’t be put off my the lines, it moves very quickly. You order at the counter then take your seat. They call out when the food is ready. ”
