Les meilleurs parcs à Maui

National Park
“This national Park is a must see while here on Maui. It’s about an hour drive from our cottage a lot of people like to reserve a spot for viewing the sunrise. But I don’t find that totally necessary going there anytime of day is beautiful and you don’t have to make a reservation to go for the afternoon or sunset. You can hit up the lavender farm while you’re up there as well.”

“The most sacred place on Maui. Come here to learn about the Hawaiian history of Iao Valley, take a short hike to view the famous Iao "needle," or a longer hike into the valley. You can take a dip in the stream, picnic in the picnic area boasting pavilions and several little structures and gardens created to resemble the styles of various cultures of the early settlers here. This is a very special place! If you do not have a Hawaiian ID, there is a $5/car fee to park. You do not need to dedicate a whole day here, but we highly suggest not missing it. Schedule an hour one morning to check it out before continuing on with your day. :)”

“While we love the close proximity to Charles Young beach, there are two other great beaches in walking distance from our unit. Of the three, we really enjoy Kam III for its soft sand and swimmer-friendly waters. It's also the largest of the Kihei beaches and is nearby lots of great shops and restaurants.”

State / Provincial Park
“Waianapanapa State Park which has a spectacular black sand beach and caves to explore. The views are breathtaking, there are grounds to picnic or BBQ and an excellent location to capture an epic family photo. No lifeguard on duty.”

“I love hiking this forest. It is nice and cool because of the high elevation. The Views are incredible and it’s a nice change from typical Hawaiian palm trees it has pine trees and eucalyptus forests.”

“My favorite beach on the entire island. All the beaches on the East side are incredible but this one holds a special place in my heart.”

“Long stretch of white sand beach & crystal blue water. I just enjoy myself every time here. The water can be too rough for children some days though. No bathrooms, just the portable kind. Also no showers so bring a few gallons of warm tap water to leave in your car for a warm shower after. You’ll thank me later. 💛”

“This is a great hike with amazing views of the Valley Isle if you get up there on a clear day. Go early to beat the heat and the crowds. Tip: Drive all the way up the road to the top parking lot. You don't want to park in the lower lot and take the long walk up!!”

“Unlimited gorgeous scenic hikes. Drive up, park and walk. You need an SUV if you want to drive all the way up but it really isnt necessary to do that.”

“Rated one of the best beach parks in the USA. Located directly below the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua (shares the same beach) this is a great place for boogie boarding. NOT a good place to snorkel. The current here is VERY strong. Easy public parking and a short walk to the beach make this a great place!”

Bathing Area
“Popular hiking trail. The trail is rugged and a tough hike especially in the rain. Avoid if heavy rainfall. Park and enter at your own risk.”
