“They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a great Taco Tuesday. Their strawberry margaritas are my favorite! Sit at the bar during happy hour or request an ocean view table and watch the sun go down. Great place for both!”

“Great food, drinks, and live music in the evening in a small venue. Wednesdays and Saturdays require reservation for top Hawaiian talent. ”

“One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is big, long, the sand is beautifull. This is a must see beach. Big waves with short breaks are often present so swim with caution. If this is the case you can always go to little beach on the other side of the mountain if you don't mind it being a nude beach.”

Centre commercial
“Oceanfront restaurants and retailers are the feature of this mall that is centered amid the Ka’anapali high rise resorts. This leans toward designer-style shopping. Notably, Louis Vitton, Kate Spade and Tommy Bahama keep stores at Whalers’ Village. They sometimes feature hula lessons and local entertainment as a bonus.”

“This is one of the coolest places in Kihei, so bring a sweatshirt. Nestled up on a hill with some amazing views and great breezes, this is a fantastic place to eat and enjoy a couple drinks. The atmosphere is a lot of fun and despite the name it is kid friendly. Strongly recommend making reservations.”

“Casanova is a local Makawao favorite for drinks at the bar or a nice sit-down Italian meal. The food is great and it is a relaxed place to enjoy dinner with friends or family.”

“This hillside hotspot is constantly busy – and rightly so. Inside this sleek noodle shop, grazers can nibble on an eclectic array of Asian-fusion share plates. Those seeking heartier fare can dive into garlic noodles, kimchi ramen and a local saimin (local-style noodle soup; Spam included). A central communal table and the chatty bar keep the vibe lively.”

“ The Hali’imaile General Store is located in what was once a general store for pineapple plantation workers during the 1920s. Today, it is home to one of the coziest restaurants in Maui, offering fresh American food with “Asian undertones.” The owner and chef, Bev Gannon, has used local ingredients to make the Hali’imaile General Store one of the top restaurants on Maui. Be sure to try the Sashimi Napoleon. This dish features layers of Ahi tartare, smoked salmon, sashimi ahi, crispy wonton stack and wasabi vinaigrette-to-die-for! Bev’s Chopped Chinese Chicken Salad and Coconut Fish Curry is another winner. Finish the meal with Lilikoi Brulee and Almond Brittle. If you find yourself upcountry or on the other side of the island, the Hali’imaile General Store is the perfect spot to stop for lunch or dinner. The Hali’imaile General Store is open for lunch, Monday – Friday, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, and, for dinner from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.”

“This is adjacent to Kihei Kai Nani and is a favorite of mine. Bingo is played on Monday nights for cash and prizes. The food is great and the service is excellent. This place is the closest you will get to a Cheer's Bar on the island. It has a mix of tourists and locals and is ideal for the sports bar enthusiasts, especially during the NFL football season. And you can get seating to watch the sunsets while eating from their awesome menu. I love the Hawaiian Burger: avacado, bacon, pineapple, and bbq sauce....YUM!”
