Lodging
“Built in 1937, Timberline Lodge has always been a grand refuge for visitors wanting to experience the magnificent and expansive high-alpine environment of Mt. Hood. A night (or a few) enjoyed in the comfort and warmth of the Lodge is like stepping back into simpler times, yet with all modern conveniences discreetly available. Tell tales of ski glory over drinks at the Ram's Head Bar, enjoy a fireside hot cocoa next to the towering stone hearth, or go for a high-altitude dip in our newly-renovated, heated outdoor pool and hot tub. ”

The resort is close to Portland - just 90 minutes away - but delivers a big mountain experience you'd expect to travel much farther to enjoy. Mt. Hood Meadows operates on a special use permit in the Mt. Hood National Forest, and the resort sprawls across Mt. Hood's southeast flank. The sunny, wind-protected side of Mt. Hood. Meadows' playful terrain welcomes and challenges all levels of skiers and snowboarders. We have a huge mountain with terrain for everyone, magnificent views and snowfall beyond belief. Our entire staff is committed to providing you with a truly memorable and unique experience that is Mt. Hood Meadows”

“Boating, swimming and fishing are popular on 63-acre Trillium Lake. A small boat ramp is available within the campground and a larger ramp is available in the nearby day-use area. An accessible fishing pier is also available. Anglers cast for a variety of trout. The 2-mile Trillium Shoreline Trail circles the lake, and parts of it are accessible. Visitors also enjoy hiking and biking on other trails in the vicinity. Tours of the area's historical sites are also popular. ”

“GORGEOUS waterfall, easy rolling trail 2 miles out, 2 miles back. The parking lot fills up quickly though, so get an early start to your day. Grab a bite/brew at Solera Brewing in Parkdale, OR on your way back. (Also beautiful to do in the snow!)”

“Right in Parkdale, Best BBQ you will find. We kind of think of this as our secret, but it has gotten pretty famous. All menu items are cooked in house. Lots of BBQ selections, and specials. Local Brews on Tap and usually a Cider as well. They are friendly fast and really can get busy. They open at 11:00 am but go before 7:00 pm, especially in summer. Outside seating is dog friendly. ”

“The Mt. Hood Brewing Co. opened in January 1991 in the alpine village of Government Camp, Oregon, serving locally-produced beers and hearty pub fare in a family-friendly atmosphere. In October 1992, the newly constructed ten barrel brewery rolled out its first barrel under the watchful eye of Brewmaster Jon B. Graber. The Mt. Hood Brewing Co. is named for a brewery that originally operated in Portland, Oregon from 1905 to 1913 during the pre-prohibition heyday of American brewers.”

Nourriture
“Small Pub with big beer. Our local Brew Pub is the friendliest around and a favorite of everyone in the area. Jason is the brew master and is frequently around if you have questions. The Staff is wonderful and will help with tastes and selection. The selection is varied from IPA's to Sours, Dark & Light. Ciders and wine as well. Great "Pub Grub", including Vegan options. Entertainment is casual and frequent but you can check their calendar on line. You will find a spacious patio seating area that is dog friendly, with a view that is simply amazing. There should be a menu in your space if not on-line works. They serve until 9 and a bit later on weekends. ”
