“Tin City is a specialty shopping district in Naples, Florida originally opened in 1976. This waterfront shopping area specializes in locally owned stores, unique area products, antiques and local handmade novelties. There are four separate buildings, each with its own unique shops and eateries making it a joy to explore. Some of my favorite shops at Tin City includes: The Naples Winery & Tasting Room featuring quality fruit wines made from key limes, mangos, pineapple and oranges. Tin City Fig & Olive Oil Co. which also has a tasting room and some great locally inspired recipes to try with their tasty flavor infused oils. Naples Soap Co. offering sea salt scrubs, Body Butter, natural soaps, face masks and more with locally inspired scents like Coconut-Lime, Florida Fresh, Sunkissed, Red Hibiscus, Ocean Breeze and Passion Fruit. Tin City is a great place to shop for unique Naples, Florida products at a fun and picturesque location. ”

“Most streets that end onto the 30 miles of beach have access points with metered parking. To find these “end of the street” beach access points, just drive along Gulfshore Blvd. that runs parallel to the Gulf of Mexico. Gulfshore Blvd. is located 5.3 miles away from the Hibiscus Hideaway and is an easy 10 - 15 minutes’ drive. Some of our favorites are at the end of 8th Avenue, 3rd Avenue or 5th Avenue in downtown Naples but we suggest you get there early in peak-season for parking (before 10:00 AM). Most of these beach areas offer amenities such as freshwater outdoor showers/rise stations, water fountains for drinking and children life vests on loaner (free of charge to borrow). However, they do not provide restrooms. Parking is $2.50 an hour; you can pay with cash or credit card at the meters when you find an available numbered space. ”

Parc
“Lowdermilk Park is one of Naples' premier beachfront parks and offers 1,000 feet of pristine beachfront. This park has a concession stand, sand volleyball courts, two children's playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, restroom/shower facilities, a duck pond and two gazebos for rent. The Beach Cafe of Lowdermilk Park is open every day from 9am - Sunset (weather permitting) and serves a variety of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, wraps, salads, ice cream, Italian ice and beverages. They also rent beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, body boards and paddleboards. Free sand wheelchairs are available to check out at the concession stand for beachgoers who require a wheelchair to access the beach. There are over 100 parking spaces, but parking can be an issue in-season as this is a popular spot for visitor and local families alike. Parking fees are $2.50 an hour but takes only quarters so bring your change. Lowdermilk Park is 6.4 miles from the Hibiscus Hideaway and takes approximately 15 minutes to drive. ”
