“Without a doubt the most famous restaurant in the Quarter, the New Orleans staple is a locals destination. The typical New Orleanian might go for lunch, but after many drinks, will stay for dinner. Many locals have their own waiter who has served them for “over 30 years.” The atmosphere combined with the food and drinks will leave you with sweet memories. Jacket required! Favorites: Speckled Trout, Shrimp Remoulade ”

“Domenica, like Pizza Domenica, has some of the freshest and delicious pizza’s around. This Chef John Besh restaurant has also mastered the roasted cauliflower, so make sure to order it. Enjoy this finer Italian restaurant located in the Roosevelt Hotel.”

“A classic Creole bar with an upscale twist. This is an old-school New Orleans bar named for the champagne cocktail, and it still feels like a step back in time. Attached to Arnaud's, one of the city's Creole grande dame restaurants, the spot's decor is lush, the light is dim, and local legend Chris Hannah helms the bar, which has many liquor options besides the eponymous drink. The bubbly French 75 is the perfect beverage to toast any occasion.”

“Beautiful historic and where the Sazerac came to be. The murals on the walls are incredible and to walk around the Roosevelt hotel is nice. Just outside of the FQ worth it. ”

“Green Goddess is a French Quarter vegetarian/vegan "piazza café dining experience" in Exchange Alley. It's limited seating, historic architecture will charm you. Exchange Alley is also a popular space for wedding couples to take pre-wedding photos. My favorites are the beet hummus and Chimichurri mushrooms with purple rice, horseradish creme, and plantains.”

“Truthfully, Erin Rose is more known as a hole-in-the-wall bar. And, that’s exactly what it is. But, if you are roaming the French Quarter and looking for one of the best po-boys in town, poke your head in and make your way to the back. This pop up kitchen produces some of the tastiest po-boys the city has to offer. A little hidden gem. Favorites: Anything ”

“This is one of New Orleans' truly great neighborhood bars/jazz clubs. The famous Tremé Brass Band play here virtually every Wednesday, and it's quite the party! Any night with live music will be great here, though, and there are fewer non-locals when it's not Wednesday. Ignore people who tell you the neighborhood is not safe (taxi drivers) and go roll with the good times.”
