Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece. Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of several projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece. Other things to note This experience is for adults and children over the age of 14. If you have sensitivities to smoke and heat this may not be the experience for you.

Be a jeweler for a day by creating your own keepsake hammered sterling silver stacking rings. We'll start off by getting you settled into the studio before teaching you the basics of metalsmithing. We'll cut silver, learn how to solder the rings together with propane torches and then learn how to polish them to make them shiny! Once you learn the basics, you can add textures to make your ring unique, and make two beautiful stacking rings!This is a wonderful experience to bring home a memorable souvenir from your trip to Asheville. We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak on the French Broad! 21&up. We’ll meet you at White Duck Taco where you’ll leave your car and we will shuttle bus you to the starting point. This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our takeouts are riverside banks, not docks, so ability to get out of your boat and walk up a trail is required. A sample or two can be provided at the breweries, but bring your wallet to purchase beer and food.

Meet us on the front porch of the historic farm house. Our tour will start there touring the home and learning of the the stories of the families who once lived here. We will then visit with our Highland Coos where we will share about the breed and enjoy petting and grooming, and giving them treats. After our visit enjoying the animals come up to the house to wash our hands where we have highland cow merchandise available if you would like to purchase. We will provide the proper personal protection equipment for this day. We ask you wear clothing suitable for a farm, pants, closed toe shoes ect... We have a closed observation hive we will go through first to get you comfortable around bees and what to expect before going into a full hive. Light the smoker and jump on in! This is where we get to see all of the workings of the Colony. We will explain all that is going on and if we are lucky we will spot the queen! Pictures with your new friends! We will provide plenty of opportunities for you to get up close and personal with your new family. Next, we will move on to placement style for arranging each item on the board and all my BOUGIE tips and tricks! This Chef's Table experience will be a succulent journey of flavors, set in an atmosphere more scaled back and intimate than the typical restaurant dinner rush. Imagine it like going to a friends house for dinner, who loves to cook. Except the friend is a veteran Personal Chef who manages a Catering company and is fully food safe certified. You will be welcomed into the Chef's home with custom Charcuterie and beverages. You will be served palette cleansers and soups/salads featuring house-made dressings. Please take time to read thru all details before booking. We will meet at front of farm house. We will start at the top of the field walking around our pastures, checking our fences along way enjoying the peacefulness that nature brings and heading into the forest and around the pastures up hills and forest where our highland cows reside. Sharing with you about out breed of cows and what they are known for. We will explore how they interact with each of us their mannerisms and irresistible cuteness. While circling the pastures we have other animals you may interact with that include 5 Scottish highland cows and their calves who were born during the year, our goats and our sweet rescue horse Eli &livestock guardian dogs. We will end our visit at the west pasture sharing treats with the animals and brushing the cows. Other things to note please Wear good closed toe tennis shoes for hike and clothes you may not mind getting dirty, to interact with animals. Hiking stick, jacket if cold, bottle of water. May not be a good fit- Disability or limitation of doing a moderate hike. Families with children 6 or younger message us privately to book we have a tour made specifically for little ones. No dogs please as not all dogs like cows. Weather back up plan-don’t worry we will see cows.. but will replace hike with the historic farmhouse tour listed under our experiences.

Hello dear! My name is Olga, I am a chicken keeper and your ultimate crazy chicken...whisperer. I want to introduce you to My Backyard Chicken experience so you are aware of what you are getting yourself into because before you know it, you may end up with 10+ chickens in your backyard. FYI, the chickens are a gateway into homesteading. So what to expect from this experience besides getting addicted to chickens? First, I will meet you in front of my house which is red brick with a picket fence. The whole experience is outdoors so dress accordingly. After, we will head out to the backyard. Here is a little breakdown of your 1.5 hours of experience in three parts of 30 minutes each. However, don't worry about a structure so much, in this sense, we are fluid. Part 1. You will learn how to tend to chickens: water, shelter, and feed. Learn about basic behaviors, facts, free-ranging, egg laying, breeds, predators, cleaning routine, coop build, life hacks, memes, etc. Observe chickens in their natural environment, meaning outside the “cage”. Think of yourself as Jane Goodal of Chickens. Part 2. Unsupervised time with chickens! Take pictures and hold the ones that are willing to be held. Part 3. Tea Time & Cookies. We will begin the tour by giving loads of information about goat care and dairy farming. Guests will have the option to play and interact with goats. You’ll definitely want to wear shoes that can stand getting dirty for this part. We will finish the tour with an elaborate tasting of the 10 fresh cheese varieties we make weekly on the farm. We conduct our tours rain or shine. We have spare umbrellas if needed.

Celebrate this ancient horticultural art form with us, at Legend Bonsai and Koi, in our one of a kind Secret Garden. This class features my novel approach to Bonsai, where art and horticulture meet to create a unique form of living art.  Guests will work in a relaxing, aesthetically pleasing environment designed to connect you with your inner artist. This course is intended for the beginner or novice, but all are encouraged to attend. The student will start with a tour of the nursery, receive a brief history of Bonsai and Bonsai varieties, as well as the art of creating a Bonsai. The aspiring artist will have an opportunity to develop their own Bonsai through hands-on training and in-depth instruction using the instruments of the craft.    Upon completion, you will leave with an appreciation for and better understanding of the ancient art form of Bonsai, and depart with your unique creation.

Make your own pottery in a beautiful, relaxed home studio atmosphere with professional ceramic artists of more than 20 years. No skills needed to be successful! In this lesson, you will make 4 different pieces with personal guidance and instructions. Each item made uses common pottery making practices. These tasks are designed to build on your new found skills as the lesson progresses. Item techniques include: Pinch, Coil, Slab and the wheel! It's really fun and we make sure everyone is successful. All tools and professional instruction is provided. This lesson is usually 2 hours long. At the end of the lesson, you will choose from a wide selection of colors. After your class, we take care of your pottery and complete them for you in a series of two kiln firings. Shipping to the lower 48 United States is included! We will meet at a local coffee shop in quaint downtown Chapin for a beverage of your choice and drive about ten minutes to a private residence, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, to interact with a variety of South Carolina fish and koi. We will learn some history about Lake Murray, the wildlife found here, and experience feeding and snorkeling with a variety of native fish in a natural pool and certified wildlife habitat. Suitable for younger children, there are several waterfalls to enjoy and five pool depths... 4 inches, 8 inches, 1.5 feet, 3 feet, and 6.5 feet in addition to the waters of Lake Murray. The fish and wildlife variety and quantity are constantly changing. We will let you know in advance what to expect on your visit! Please apply sunscreen thirty minutes beforehand and minimize the use of lotions & hair products to help keep chemicals out of the natural pool ecosystem. Sun shirts are recommended. Water shoes are not required but nice to have as the docks and patios can heat up in the sun. The event is rain or shine. Feel free to request evening and nighttime slots, if desired. If you are SCUBA qualified, there are options available to dive. Please let the host know in advance. For winter months, please request to book as we will need wetsuits and more advance planning.

This experience is great for those who traveled long hours especially across the ocean or country. It will help to feel more grounded and recover from jet lag quickly. It is also great for stress relief and emotional balance restoration. Or if you want to experience something new and unique and need to connect to your Self on deep level this is for you! We start with a short guided meditation which helps you start to feel comfortable and more relaxed. You will be sitting in chair or laying down on yoga mat whatever is more comfortable for you. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, but I do have extras. Then you will be surrounded by sound of seven gongs. After few minutes you will enter a meditative state and your own inner experience. The sound of gong penetrates, cleans, invigorates, rejuvenates, and connects you to your soul, your highest infinite self. Discover what will be yours. Once you arrive on our property, Nicole and/or Jeff will greet you and already have your horses ready and matched to your level of experience. You will then be led to our riding ring where you will have the opportunity to learn about general horse care and safety. In the riding ring, you will have the opportunity to mount your horse and learn how to steer and control your horse and become comfortable before embarking on the trail ride. Once you are comfortable, you will be guided on a private tour of our 52 acre estate where you will go through woods, open fields, across ridge lines and enjoy being on a horse with breathtaking mountain views. On the ride we will also snap a few complimentary pictures for you to share with friends and family or add to your social media. At the end of your ride, we will help you dismount and you will have the opportunity to love on your horse and snap a few extra last minute selfies.

I provide an educational tour about alpacas and llamas. You will learn the difference between the two. Why a farmer as myself own alpacas and llamas. I will teach you how I care for my alpacas and much more. Also, you will be able to get up close and personal with the alpacas to take all the photos you would like. I provide the feed. Other farm animals includes a goat, duck, chickens and a Great Pyrenees. There is a hand washing station on-site and farm store.

Must be at least 18 years old and no more than 200 pounds. No riding experience necessary! * NEW LOCATION! * We will ride into the woods along a tranquil creek up to the top of a mountain! Our trail is safe for beginners, but dynamic enough that advanced riders will have fun too! Depending on the time of year, we may see the beautiful changing colors of Autumn, or an ensemble of Spring blooms and tons of greenery. There is also a small seasonal waterfall! Upon arrival, we will ask you to complete a Release From Liability form, collect the balance of your payment if owed, give you a brief riding demonstration, help you to mount your horses, adjust your stirrups, and make sure your saddles are tight before the start of each ride. However, there's no need to arrive in advance of your scheduled ride time.

Your private experience here at Elite Frontier Adventures includes the following: You will learn to groom, saddle, bridle, sit correctly in the saddle, rein, balance, shift your weight as necessary etc.. on "your" horse for the day. After an orientation ride in our private lower pastures, you will ride with your guide on our private mountain trails. You will cross streams, wind your way up and down several switchbacks, see authentic moonshine sites and pass places such as "Inspiration Point," "Black Bear Saddle," "Gray Fox Gully," and take your horse through "The Bathtub" before emerging back into "Paradise Holler" to end your ride. Unsaddle and give your horse a "thank you" grooming before releasing him back into the pasture until next time. Shoes with a heel or boots are highly recommended. Helmets are provided. Approximately 2-3 hours, depending on group size. Other things to note No experience required. By the end of the ride, you will feel like a pro.
