Our practice will take place in a quiet corner of Lumphini Park, right in the center of Bangkok. We will start the session with meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises), moving on to asana flows. During the retreat, we will be performing healing and strengthening exercises. Thanks to the small size of the class, the class can be tailored to individual needs and skills. Yogis of all levels are welcome to join! You will follow the journey of rice from the paddy field to the authentic noodle ‘factory’, before following its paths to the local market where you can see it sold and sample the noodles in the authentic market setting. Likewise, visit a bean sprout producer and learn about this ancient tradition before seeing them for sale on local stalls. You’ll also sample rice cakes with Mung bean curd, local deserts freshly cooked in market stalls. Later in the tour meet one of the few sellers of Chinese sesame soup and learn about the history of this interesting family, before sampling Banh Mi and admiring the French influence. Hi. I am Helen Jeongju Kim. In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone. First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.) Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare. Public transportation is convenient. Other things to note -The name stone is not as hard as you think. -Even a 10-year-old can use a tool to carve an own seal.

First I explain a little about what is special about “Akahada-yaki”. Then I hand over the raw clay to guests for appreciation and touching.Imagine this clay will be given life and become a work in your daily life! Have in your mind a image of your own design. Eg. If you participate with your partner, making same teacups for each other might be a memorable experience! I will also advise for your design from easiness of making or solidity in use. When design is finished, then we start building and shaping by wheel throwing. (See my demonstration!) It’s really a fun to turn a wheel! You can either concentrate in your work, or get more inspiration watching at my works in the gallery. Final step is to scrape and write your name at the bottom of your work. That’s how it works! And let’s have a tea break and Japanese sweet over imagining the finished condition of your work. I will dry and bake your work, then duly pack it , which takes 4 months (or longer in high seasons) in total till dispatching for shipment. (International shipment cost should be additionally paid at the class. For some countries shipment may not be possible, please ask.) Experience the barefoot lifestyle and tropical landscape of the Phi Phi Islands in the Andaman Sea on our half day sunset tour. Swim with colorful fish at Loh Samah and Monkey Bay and snorkel among coral gardens. Places we visit during the tour: - Monkey Bay - Viking Cave - Pileh Lagoon - Loh Samah Bay - Maya Bay While on the way back to the meeting point, you can enjoy the sunset. NOTE 1: This tour starts and ends on Koh Phi Phi. It does NOT start from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket. Participants have to travel to Koh Phi Phi by themselves and need to stay at the island for at least 1 night. NOTE 2: This tour is really about swimming, snorkeling and visiting beautiful spots around Koh Phi Phi, not about story-telling. NOTE 3: Phi Phi Islands are part of a National Park. The National Park fee of THB 400 per adult (THB 200 per child) is not included and must be paid cash on day of the experience. IMPORTANT: As per government decision, Maya Bay will be closed for a couple of months every year, so that the area can undergo a period of natural rehabilitation. All the other places in the itinerary will still be accessible during this time, so more time will be spend here for swimming and snorkeling.

Our practice will take place in a quiet corner of Lumphini Park, right in the center of Bangkok. We will start the session with meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises), moving on to asana flows. During the retreat, we will be performing healing and strengthening exercises. Thanks to the small size of the class, the class can be tailored to individual needs and skills. Yogis of all levels are welcome to join! (The time of the yoga practice is approximately 90 minutes) Yoga helps you learn about your body, how to fix posture, balance and pains, while making you stronger. It is not a competitive practice, and it should be lived as a tool for improving yourself inside and out. Join the practice and experience the rejuvenating power of yoga! Other things to note Don't worry if you are a newbie or an advanced practitioner. We will adapt classes to the needs of participants. Please plan on being at least 5 minutes early to get set up for class. Please let me know if you have any injuries prior to practicing.

Therefore, vegan food is NOT available and vegetarian food is only available as long as you can eat fish sauce but it is still a bit limited choices for vegetarians. There are 2 times of the day that you can join: +++ Lunch time: 10AM - 1PM +++ Dinner time: 6PM - 9PM We will spend 3 hours walking around every single corners of Hanoi Old Quarter where we can seat on a small plastic stool on the pavement and taste all the best street foods. Let's bring good camera because mostly foods will be cooked in the front of you by skilled chefs while we introduce to you about the name, recipe, how to eat like locals style, where the best place to eat. Beside that, it will be a chance for us to introduce the Vietnamese cultures and share the tips of travelling in Vietnam. We have heard a lot of stories and experiences from our guests so we know which information you need to know: What to do, what to eat, where to go.
