“Built in 1634 to protect San Juan from land attacks, the San Cristóbal Fort is the largest Spanish fort in the Americas covering some 27 acres of land. At the beginning of the experience, you can watch a short film that explains the history of the fort and listen to an orientation offered by the staff every hour. Inside, you will find a main plaza used for troop formations and practices, a chapel, troop quarters, tunnels used by soldiers, artillery, and more. The observation post located in the third level gives you a beautiful ocean and city view.”

“This is cultural place where you will find excellent Puerto Rican food and a tropical ambiant. The food is exquisite, the people are friendly and they also feature music and dances that relate to the Puerto Rican Culture. You may need to ask when they have live music in order to fully enjoy all the entertainment this restaurant offers. ”

“This place is certainly worth the 5-block walk from the 'Blue Room' as the pizza is delicious! And it's located in a beautiful, well-preserved Spanish building. Be sure to ask for a table in the second floor: you'll be amazed by the brick walls and tall ceilings. But, again, the food is what makes it all worth it. ”

“Walkway to see Puertorrican artisans and vendors, try a piragua. You can also see the "Raices Fountain" that commemorates the 500 anniversary of the founding of San Juan. Walk all the way to the San Juan Gate and past this till the end to encounter the stairs that take you to " El Morro Castle".”
