Library
“A outstanding example of everything a public library should be. They have comfortable seating, free wi-fi, printing for a small fee, fireplaces in the winter, an outdoors reading terrace and a cafe. Stellar librarians. Non-residents can’t check out books, but there is a used bookstore. Frequent story times for children and authors from various genres also give public lectures. Check the website for the schedule. Hinds Plaza, directly in front of the library, hosts a seasonal farmer’s market, free concerts and other community events.”

Meal Takeaway
“The name says it all. They serve massive Hoagie/Heros at a reasonable price. They are designer sandwiches filled with ingredients not for the light eater. They are a local and University favorite and often have a line, especially on a Friday or Saturday late night”

“The menu is a bit fancier than the Ivy, with a “mead of the month” and prosecco cocktails. ;) There’s a patio area, a sit down restaurant and a pub. Happy hour offered Monday -Friday 4-7pm.”
