“This place is beautiful. Great nature trails, and some more "difficult" hikes (although probably on a max of 4 on a 1-10 scale). Take the trail out to Hanging Rock. You will not regret it! (it's only about 1 mile to it). There is a small admission fee.”

“Hop on the bike path literally at the end of Paris St. (our street) and follow the lane down Blackstone Blvd. It will take you through the east side and then along the water all the way to Bristol and Colt State Park. Over 15 miles each way. Relatively flat once you get to the water.”

“Some of the properties that Westerly Land Trust owns are open to the public and have nice hiking trails. An interesting one down the street from us is the "Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park". Here there are signs explaining how the glacier formed the land we live on. From "Charlie's Overlook" you can look over Winnapaug Pond to Misquamicut Beach out to the Atlantic Ocean and sometimes Block Island and Long Island are in sight. Go to westerlylandtrust.org for detailed information.”

“This is the best view on the island. And, if you walk around the corner from the first beach at the bottom of the stairs, it can also be one of the most secluded spots for a quick swim.”
