Our practice will take place in a quiet corner of Lumphini Park, right in the center of Bangkok. We will start the session with meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises), moving on to asana flows. During the retreat, we will be performing healing and strengthening exercises. Thanks to the small size of the class, the class can be tailored to individual needs and skills. Yogis of all levels are welcome to join! (The time of the yoga practice is approximately 90 minutes) Yoga helps you learn about your body, how to fix posture, balance and pains, while making you stronger. Other things to note Don't worry if you are a newbie or an advanced practitioner. We will adapt classes to the needs of participants. Please plan on being at least 5 minutes early to get set up for class. Please let me know if you have any injuries prior to practicing.

Stories from Vietnam War at not-to-go-alone areas
Hanoi during the Vietnam War: the dark side of its most famous monuments. Discover life under the planned economy, the fate(s) of the local people from both sides (the North and the South); and the story of the unification of Vietnam, a country once divided between the communist and anti-communist, on the brink of the COLD WAR. Our "stroll" will last about 2.5 hours, with a short taxi ride half way through. The aim of my walk is to make you discover specific areas of Hanoi (far away from the tourist's eyes) in the light of aspects of our city's rich history that are rarely touched upon by guidebooks, with in-depth information (history buffs welcome) but in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. A conversation, rather than a lecture! Places we will visit: - Cho Gioi area - Kham Thiem B52 memorial - Hanoi Train Street Note: 20% of the profit will be donated to the Vietnam Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and Blue Dragon Children's Foundation in Hanoi.
Café, histoire et architecture du quartier français
Join our Hanoi French Quarter Walking Experience to discover one of the most beautiful parts of the city. The historical area is the southern part of Hanoi and is full of culture and history that sets it apart from the rest of the city. The aim of the walk is to make you discover specific areas of Hanoi and provide in-depth information (history buffs welcome) in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Rather than a lecture, it will be more like a conversation! We will start with an explanation of Vietnamese general history in a French villa coffee shop, accompanied by a cup of authentic Vietnamese coffee. We will then give a brief overview of French influences in Hanoi, as well as the Vietnam War, featuring St. Joseph's Cathedral, Trang Tien Ice Cream, Hanoi Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Post Office, Trang Tien Street, Hanoi Metropole Hotel, the very first university in French Indochina, and many more! You will learn about how Vietnamese society changed under French rule, exploring the good and the bad of this period. Feel free to ask your guide plenty of questions! Coffee and ice-cream are included.
Marché flottant de Damnoen Saduak et marché ferroviaire
Everyday 2 times: 7:15 AM and 10:30 AM After 1 to 1,5 hours driving we arrive at the famous Mae Klong train market (Talat Rom Hup). Imagine a train going straight through a public market! The Mae Klong Railway Market has been around since 1905. Fishing was (and still is) one of the main livelihoods of the people who lived here, and the market was another way in which to sell their goods. Officials decided to build a railway in order to better deliver these goods to other provinces. The market stayed at the same place though, despite the new tracks that cut through it. Visit Wat Bang Kung, famous for its small chapel that is completely enclosed within the roots of a banyan tree. It is almost like the tree itself is the pillars of the temple and that without the roots the chapel would fall down. You can also go inside to pay respect to the Buddha image. Continue to Damnoen Saduak where we board a long-tail boat for a ride through the canals before we reach the famous floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Although the market evolved more into a tourist attraction nowadays, it’s still worth the visit for its unique atmosphere and the experience it offers. THE EXACT MEETING TIME/DEPARTURE TIME WILL BE INFORMED IN A PERSONAL MESSAGE TO YOU THE DAY BEFORE THE TOUR. PLEASE READ OUR MESSAGE CAREFULLY AND KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE TO START ON TIME.
Bangkok Canal Tour by Long-tail boat
Everyday 5 times: 8:00, 9:30, 12:30, 15:30, 16:30 hrs. Hop on a typical Thai long-tail boat to explore the Bangkok Yai Canal in Thonburi, the ancient capital of Thailand. During our 2-hour canal adventure you will explore life on and around the klongs (canals) and get a glimpse of how the local people live. Elderly people sitting on the chairs on the wooden docks of their tiny homes overlooking the canal, women hanging laundry to dry, and children jumping into the water and swimming in the canal, amazing! We will make a stop at Baan Silapin (The Artist's House), a traditional Thai house that has been converted into a public space to preserve art and traditional performance styles. The wooden house, over 200 years old and lovingly restored by its owner, sits at the heart of a small community of rustic shophouses which are connected by a wooden walkway that follows the edge of the klong (canal). Furthermore, we pass Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, built in the mid-Ayutthaya period in the Phasi Charoen District in Thonburi. The boat driver will stop the boat so that you can take a good photo of the huge Buddha statue at this temple. The Buddha statue is towering nearly 70 meters above the ground, the height of a 20-story building, and it is Bangkok's biggest Buddha image, with a width of 40 meters in its cross-legged meditation posture.
