Vineyard
“Founded in 1988 by Hamburg-born Christian Wölffer, Wölffer Estate Vineyard is a vision-casting American winery with a decidedly European character. A 55-acre vineyard located in Sagaponack, in the heart of the Hamptons, these former potato fields have become the quality benchmark of Long Island winemaking today by producing roughly more than 50,000 cases of wine and hard cider each year.”

Galerie d'art
“Great side trip especially on a rainy day. If you are interested in art and art history this is a nice diversion - stop for lunch and shopping in Amagansett or East Hampton afterwards. Be sure to check the hours - as they are limited.”

Pizzeria

“Long considered the one of the top 5 if not number 1 pizzeria's in the country, Frank Pepe's Pizzeria is a must visit. Unsurprisingly, Hyatus recommends the White Clam Pizza. Invented at Franke Pepe's (they also invented their coal-fired pizza ovens which are still in use today), the white clam pizza is made with fresh clams, garlic, cheese, olive oil, and is just absolutely delicious.”

“Nice restaurant/bar which gets extremely busy. They serve good pizza and have a nice beer selection. It really packs out on Friday and Saturday nights so can be a bit of a wait, though there are also a lot of alternate restaurants along this strip.”

“Great location on the beach, perfect for a drink at happy hour or great seafood dinner. Right on the water. Sit inside or out. They also have an area for kids to keep them occupied :)”

Hôtel
“It used to be that if you wanted to party on the East End, you were either battling the lines and awful people at horrible clubs like Pink Elephant (RIP) and Jet East (RIP) in Southampton, reverting to your old college ways at Stephen’s Talkhouse, or getting really messy at The Point and Memory Motel in Montauk (which is absolutely still a good idea). Now, everyone just goes to the Surf Lodge - or tries to. At this point, Saturday nights are completely off limits. It’s an absolute zoo. We get our Surf Lodge in around 6 or 7pm for an early cocktail and live music, or on a rainy Friday when it’s empty. Eating a full meal here isn’t necessary, unless you’re booking with the hopes of eating dinner here to skip the line.”
