Café

“Local breakfast diner with an extensive menu lunch and dinner. They serve breakfast all day long. Here you will find classic local diner food. Chile, pinon and all the comforts one visits local cafes for. A good local scene of old timers, long time locals and a mass of tourism. Weekends are hugely busy so perhaps a weekday for a better experience. Drawback they use Styrofoam, you can always ask for foil or bring your own containers. Also they have a bakery. Cinnamon rolls and all the favorites. ”

“Great cup of coffee. No drip, all espresso drinks. It’ll getcha’ going! If you’re in a rush, it’s not the best place. Parking can be tricky and locals tend to linger. ”

Épicerie
“Our sweet little organic grocery store. For its size I am actually really impressed with the market selections. This is a super popular place to meet all the health conscious locals of Taos. People get dressed up and take the time to look good as you run into everyone that is anybody in Taos, here at this location. ”

“Taos is a small town in a somewhat remote location which factors into shopping and products that are available. Walgreen's large national chain store is a good bet to have what you need for daily living.”

Épicerie
“This would be our choice for a larger, local chain. They are well stocked with more choice and a bigger price variation. They also have a pharmacy and some great sushi for on-the-go.”

“Great for Mexican food staples, and for the pre-made breakfast and lunch burritos that are surprisingly good. They also make their own tortillas, which are super yummy.”
