“Shenkin Street is one of the most famous, happening streets in Tel Aviv. Considered to be a local attraction for over 20 years, the renovations through 2012 that have converted the street into a pedestrian paradise, have rejuvenated a street that really does epitomize the Tel Aviv spirit. And with it’s proximity to some of Tel Aviv’s other must-sees, such as Carmel Market and Nachalat Binyamin, you really should squeeze in a visit to this part of town. ”

“Bird/Lime/Wind - E-scooter apps to get around :) Walking around in Tel-Aviv, you'll see dozens of electric scooters just scattered all over the city. It is by far the easiest way to get around in a city like Tel-Aviv. All you have to do is download one of the e-scooter apps listed above, enter your CC info, scan the barcode on the scooter and you are ready to go! If you want one and you don't see them on the street, each app has a map that can show you where the nearest scooter is. Super comfortable!”

“A tasty retreat from the Tel Aviv bustle. Charming, cozy, and quirky, Café Puaa is a Jaffa neighborhood staple. Located in the heart of Jaffa’s flea market, this iconic café feels like a retro living room. Its colorful carpets, antique ornaments and comfy couches give the restaurant a homey, authentic feel. Plus, Puaa embodies the spirit of its flea market surroundings, whereby every piece of furniture is for sale! But, what makes Puaa truly special are its wholesome, unique Mediterranean dishes. Treat yourself to their famous curried pumpkin dumplings, their hearty moussaka with quinoa and feta cheese or their all-day breakfast (yep, you heard me right). Each dish is creative and packs a flavourful punch - it’s no wonder Puaa’s loyal customers leave in good spirits, even when the weather is grey.”

“During the day it is a robust spice market. All spices and coffee beans in their best state will be found here. This is a must see during the day. At night it is a neighborhood pub/restaurant scene with many small, bohemian places you can eat fresh food from Tel Aviv's markets and enjoy the chic local, bohemian night scene. ”

“The most prominent shopping mall in Tel Aviv. If you want to go on a shopping spree in an air-conditioned space - that's the place to go. It can take 20-30 minutes to walk over there, but it's just a few minutes by taxi, and they will all know where it is. A lot of bus lines will stop there too.”

Quartier
“Welcome to the Yemenite vineyard (Kerem Hateimanim). this tiny neighborhood located beyond the Carmel market, originally founded in the 1930’s by immigrants from Yemen (therefore her name). since then it became discovered by bohemian Tel Avivians looking for inexpensive houses. even though many of the buildings are nicely renovated and influence by the artsy crowd, the neighborhood is still populated by old timers and hasn’t lost its authenticity. it is full of charming and quaint, like a village. If you are looking for spicy Yemenite food in a homey atmosphere, there are plenty of restaurants to try, Carmel market for fresh ingredients, clothes, flowers and many more, street art, bike rides in the small streets and enjoy the peace and quiet.”

“Located in the posh Montefiore boutique hotel, this charming restaurant has become a local institution to see and be seen. Ruti and Mati Broudo of R2M restaurant group are known for their high standards for food and service at all of their ventures, and Montefiore is no exception. The plush room is as pretty as the plates — refined bistro classics with hints of Vietnamese cuisine that showcase the best of local ingredients. Breakfast is a destination every day of the week”

“If you like dance, you can watch shows here, but its really just a nice place to walk around and explore one of the nicest neighborhoods in Tel Aviv. Walk to and around the Dellal center to get a sense of Neve Tzedek, an idyllic oasis in the city. Make sure to check out Shabazi street for a fun window-shopping stroll. ”
