“The Tokyo Skytree is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. It is the centerpiece of the Tokyo Skytree Town in the Sumida City Ward, not far away from Asakusa. With a height of 634 meters (634 can be read as "Musashi", a historic name of the Tokyo Region), it is the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world at the time of its completion. A large shopping complex with aquarium is located at its base.”

Landmark
“Bearing a significant resemblance to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, this bright orange tall radio tower was built in 1958 to symbolize the country's recovery after the destruction of World War Two. Rising up to 333 meters, Tokyo Tower used to be the tallest tower in Japan until the completion of Tokyo Skytree in 2012. You can choose to take the elevator or walk up 600 steps to the main deck, located 150 meters above the ground. If you are lucky, on sunny days you can even catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji rising in the distance. If you are not afraid of heights, try standing on the glass floor sections and look directly down to the ground—almost 145 meters under your feet. ”

“It's a mechanical show restaurant with Japanese dancers! It's a seemingly crazy shop, but it's all about the details. Tension goes up abnormally because it is in the middle of the genre town. Maybe this kind of blown-out sensibility will play a role in Japan! 機械仕掛けのショーと思いきや、日本人ダンサーによるエンターテイメントレストラン!一見クレイジーな店内だが、細部にまでこだわり抜かれています!様々なお店のある歌舞伎町のど真ん中にあり、テンションも異常に上がるかも!”

Buddhist Temple
“Sensoji is perhaps the most famous and photographed of Tokyo's temples. It is the oldest Buddhist temple in the capital, and the five-story pagoda, trails of incense and vast eaves will take you back to a Tokyo of time gone by. The approach to Sensoji, known as Nakamise Dori, is lined with about a hundred shops selling crafts, souvenirs and plenty of sweet and savory snacks. Throughout the year you can come across seasonal events held on the temple grounds. Some of the most popular include Asakusa-jinja Shrine’s Sanja Festival collaboration event in May, the hozuki (Chinese lantern plant) market in July and the photogenic hagoita decorative paddle market in December.”

“Golden Gai is a few minutes walk from the East Exit of Shinjuku Station, between the Shinjuku City Office and the Hanazono Shrine.[5] Its architectural importance is that it provides a view into the relatively recent past of Tokyo, when large parts of the city resembled present-day Golden Gai, particularly in terms of the extremely narrow lanes and the tiny two-story buildings. Nowadays, most of the surrounding area has been redeveloped: The street plans have been changed to create much wider roads and larger building plots, and most of the buildings themselves are now much larger high- or medium- rise developments. This has left Golden Gai as one of a decreasing number of examples of the nature of Tokyo before Japan’s “economic miracle”, that took place in the latter half of the 20th century. 今人気の東京都新宿区の飲食店街です。およそ2000坪ほどの狭い区画に低層の木造長屋が連なっており、200軒以上の小さな飲食店が密集していいるので、飲み歩きにもできます!以前は文壇バーなど個性豊かな店も多く、常連客として作家、編集者、映画監督、俳優といった文化人が多く集まることで知られていました。このような背景から、東京におけるサブカルチャーやアングラ芸術の発信地のひとつとなっています。”

“ Kabukichō (歌舞伎町) is an entertainment and red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Kabukichō is the location of many host and hostess clubs, love hotels, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs, and is often called the "Sleepless Town" (眠らない街). Shinjuku Golden Gai, famous for the plethora of small bars, is part of Kabukicho. Travelers have christened the area an “adult playground”, with many deeming it a safe environment for all ages despite the nature of the attractions. Centre commercial
“The building, located just across the street from Shibuya Station, opened in April 1979. The architect was Minoru Takeyama. Tokyu, the building's operator, designed the building as a "Fashion Community" containing small retail stores targeting the early-30s female consumer. Tokyu intended the store to compete with Seibu Department Stores, which was making inroads into the Shibuya area. 開業当初は20代後半から30代の女性に人気でしたが、現在では店内のほとんどが10代後半から20代前半の女性の支持を集めるショッピング施設!「マルキュー」の略称で呼ばれ親しまれ、渋谷のランドマーク!”

“Ichiran is a chain, but it is arguably the best one in Japan so it is worth mentioning here. The secret to its success is perhaps the spicy powder and the flour-based noodles made by Ichiran itself. And the deep flavor of their soups is just irresistible. Going there is a fun experience not just for the ramen, but how you order it. Buy your ticket from the vending machine, then fill out an extensive order form about how you want your ramen. It's the most customizable ramen there is. You can choose the level of spiciness, the amount of garlic, the intensity of the dashi seasoning stock and much more! Forms are in English and Japanese.”

“This shop's specialty is Shio Ramen, a type of ramen that has a basic, lightly salted taste. You will easily eat up this your bowl of this amazing ramen. This is the best option for those who don't like ramen that are too oily and heavy. The "toripaitan ramen" (made of chicken broth) is also worth a try here. The nearest station is the Toei Oedo Line Shinjuku Station (D3 Exit).”
