“You can access the Bayou trails from the heights walking path although easier to park along Allen Parkway and hop on the trail. Trail winds through recently renovated landscape with a dog park. Tree lined paths for bikers, runners and walkers all along the Buffalo Bayou.”

Trail
“This trail is at the end of my street and from that parking lot runs either east (butterfly garden, dog park, fields with horses, soccer field) or west (Historic Cemetery, Getzendanger Park, cardio stations, bikes/repair tools, Chatauqua Theater) and runs along the side of a heavily wooded creek. I think the trail has quenched my thirsty soul many times.”

Trail
“Coombs Creek Trail is a multiuse hard surface trail matching along Kessler Parkway between Stevens Park Golf Course and Kessler Parkway Park. The 1.5-mile hike and bike path provides access to the Trinity River levee, as well as the Oak Cliff neighborhood. It is hoped that it will eventually link up with the Trinity Skyline Trail. Interesting tidbit: there are rumors the trail is “haunted”.”

Trail
“This paved trail is easily accessible from the guest house. It can be found on the map included here. To access it, turn right on Shady Lane coming out of our driveway. Walk to the corner and turn left on Eastus. Follow Eastus all the way down the hill and you’ll see the trail across the street. Follow it in either direction, but know that it’s not yet looped, so you’ll have to turn around to get home.”
