Buckwheat Root Camps is situated along the roaring Indus river sandwiched between Karakoram mountain ranges. With beautiful views of Landscape and well maintained orchard around and within the camps area, Campsite will surely make your visit memorable. It has 11 tents where each tent can accommodate maximum of 3 guests and 3 exclusive huts.
All the tents and huts have attached bathroom and toilet.
At the Campsite, each tent opens to small sitting lounge within the tent which further opens to beautiful garden and picturesque karakoram mountain peaks and river Indus.
There is also a separate Dining Hall where guests can enjoy their meals and snacks.
Within the area, there is a big rock where facilities have been developed for activities like climbing rock with the ropes and other activities can be enjoyed by the guests.
Facilities such as bedding for drivers and parking for vehicle have also been looked after.
Turtuk, hidden gem of Ladakh, is the northernmost village of India situated in the Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is between the mighty Karakoram ranges on the banks of the Shayok River.
Few miles to north is the LOC border and tourists are allowed to visit the border region.
