Restaurant italien
“An amazing place for dinner! such beautiful food and a great atmosphere! Highly recommend doing the "feed me" menu where you get to taste lots of plates from the menu. Not cheap but well worth it!”

Restaurant italien
“This is THE BEST pizza and pasta in Wanaka, and dare we say Central Otago. Be sure to ring ahead and book - the trick is to leave a message on their answering machine for your required time, and book in advance! Takeaway is available for lunch only - they are too busy for dinner takeaways but you can easily go to one of my other recommendations.”

“Go here on your way in/out of Wanaka. Their food is great, and their pantry is gourmet. Stock up on delicious items from NZ and around the world. It’s the one MKR’s Miguel and Pete wrote about!”

“Our go to coffee spot - consistently amazing coffee and great sweet and savoury muffins! I can highly recommend their fries too if you need a salty fried treat to pick you up! the Chicken Turkish in the cabinet is delicious too. Boulangerie
“Best and only bakery for real, proper bread. A few minutes walk; hop up a very low wall at the end of our street, through a little car park, through Mitre 10 car park and turn right . after the liquor store on the right. Worth it for the yummy sourdough, this is where the restaurants get their bread from.. ”

“The newest edition to Albert town and a short 5 min drive from downtown Wanaka is Pembroke Patisseries. Its a cute little cafe serving great coffee and amazing pastries sweet and savoury. They make amazing donuts but the almond croissants are next level good times! May i suggest a bike ride along the Clutha river track ending up at the cafe for morning tea or an afternoon delight. ”
