Parc
“Any time of year is a good time to visit Narrabeen Lagoon. This large coastal lagoon is located half way along the Northern Beaches peninsula and is a great place for kids to cycle – whether they are toddlers on training wheels or school-aged kids needing to burn off some energy. My family loves cycling the Narrabeen Lagoon circuit. I love it because it is easy on my knees, it gets the kids out in nature, and you can take it as fast or as slow as you like. The 8.4 km off-road nature trail winds through parklands and lush ecosystems that are home to over 190 bird species, such as egrets and black swans. Strategically placed around the circuit are four picnic grounds, Middle Creek, Jamieson, Berry and Billarong.”

Botanical Garden
“A big botanic garden with plenty of tracks to follow. My favourite is the Senses track, where you use your five senses to discover nature. It is a spot not many know, thus it is empty most of the time. Fun activities for kids. No entrance fee.”

Theme Park
“Wannabees is an indoor play centre where kids can develop their social and emotional skills in a safe and educational environment. It features a child size city where kids can make believe, dress up and have lots of fun. They can pretend to be firefighters who put a pretend fire out in our fire simulator. Perhaps they can be Doctors in our hospital or actors in the tv studio. There are many professions to choose from. Bring the kids to Wannabees and let them discover What they wanna be when they grow up.”
