It is 6km from the Main Estate at the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains and is one of Ireland’s most beautiful parklands with well maintained walking trails. The area is full of indigenous and imported flora, including giant redwoods, as well as a wide variety of fauna including deer. There is a playground as well as a kiosk for snacks if you don’t pack a picnic. I would recommend driving if possible as the public transport options are long and winding. ”
