The Legacy bike trail is only 100 metres from our building. Ride your bicycle on a dedicated bicycle path all the way to Banff. Bike rentals are available at a number of nearby locations.
Over 200 km of trails for mountain biking, nordic skiing, running, fat-biking, snowshoeing, and some hiking. Nice day-lodge for those who are not joining in on the activities.

Take the ROAM bus to Banff (nearest stop 200 metres away), spend the day exploring, then cruise downhill (and usually with a tailwind) back to Canmore on the Legacy cycle path. It passes only 100 metres from our building.
