Food Scene

Walking distance - The Great Lost Bear $, not even 2 blocks away on Forest, just turn left at the Gas Station, famous for more than 100 beers on tap, good burgers and pub food, grow their own herbs in the summer, sit on the deck if the weather co-operates.

Eventide on Fore St. is famous for their odd mini lobster rolls in steam buns (don't care for em myself) and phenomenal oysters, the must get for me here is actually the drinking chocolate, which is basically melted chocolate in a cup! Drinking chocolate only available in the winter usually. $$$

This is one of the local hangouts for Oysters, it's like stepping back into the 70s. Great oysters, clams can be sandy so I usually skip them there.

This is simply the best lobster roll you can get anywhere! I like the Connecticut myself (just lobster and butter), and the picnic is a close second, the views and cliff walks here are some of the best in the area, definitely worth a trip if the weather is nice. Only open from Memorial day to Labor day, they shut at sunset or when they run out, so I'd get there by 3 to be safe.

This is my favorite brunch place in town, their blueberry pancakes are phenomenal. People like their drinks, and nice lunches and dinners on the lighter side. Great duck.
