Super cool space to lounge, surf the net, read a book, work on your start-up, that sort of thing! They have coffee, cake, soup, etc. They also run regular social activities.

I'm a huge Italian food fan, and love La Figa. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it! Attentive staff, buzzing atmosphere, a bar, and delicious food.

It's the closest cinema. Genesis at Stepney Green is pretty close too, and it's cheaper than Cineworld. However, Cineworld has bigger screens plus bigger and more comfortable seats.

Canary Wharf is the new financial district. (The old one is the City - not far away, over at Monument & Bank.) Not only are there very tall buildings (!), but also a shopping centre, lots of restaurants and bars, two cinemas and, of course, the river Thames.
