The Bresolin is a place to go for flavour fusion. Basically, you order small plates and share them. The bonus? Everything you eat will be mouth watering. They have an excellent craft beer and wine menu and the staff are extremely helpful.

This place is one of my favourites! The best burger joint in NZ, now that's saying something. Fancy a blue cheese, chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, red onion, bacon, mustard sauce burger or one of the many beautiful vege burgers? These things are huge, there's great music, it's really central and well worth a visit. (The map shos Moa Point, but it's now on Cuba Street).

By far my favourite place to grab food for a picnic, I don't even know how to describe this place!? It's just the best, everything is delicious (we've been trying to figure out their recipes for years). Healthy and wholesome, loads of vegan, vege and one flatbread meat option. Just beautiful.

Always packed with people (for a reason). This place is a city icon. Try the swamp dip, it's artichoke, cheese, garlic and spinach dip with served with baguette or corn chips.

Wonderful live music and a great atmosphere. I would never miss this on a trip to Wellington, especially on a Sunday where they have a 10 piece big band.

Te Papa is a place you cannot miss when you're in Wellington. You can take everyone! It's free, but leave a donation (we would love to keep it free) it would be well worth spending $20 on. History, culture, science, fashion, art, activities, food, outdoor areas, right next to the waterfront. This place is huge so make sure you block out a few hours.
