AKA Woodlands Trail System located behind the Britt concert venue. Great trails to run or hike with your animals, kids, or alone. Easy to challenging. Bring water if it's hot out. One mile down 238 on the right hand side is the 1,100 acre park called Forest Park. Filled with hundreds of miles of trails for mountain biking, running or hiking. www.jvwoodlands.org is a great resource.

There is also a Lower Table Rock Trail. Both of these trails are 5 miles roundtrip (if you walk along the top). Once on top you hike flat along the top of the plateau to the edge for stunning views of our valley. This is what is left of an ancient volcanic lava flow. Kids can easily do this hike. Bring water and a picnic for the top. Dogs not allowed so plan accordingly. Free parking. Outhouse style bathroom at parking lot.
