One of my favourite things about London is how multicultural it is. Had an authentic Eritrean meal here which was absolutely delicious! We were not given knives and forks, but used the pancakes to scoop up our curries and lentils. Highly recommend if you're feeling a bit more adventurous!

This place is a little more expensive but totally worth it for the views of central London! It's open 24 hours and the menu is super quirky - their signature dish is actually duck served with waffles, a fried egg and maple syrup and it's really good too! I've had it twice. The bar area is also really cool, definitely worth a visit.

Great pub within walking distance of the place. It's always quite lively when there's a big football match on too.

If you like beer. If you like burgers. There is no place else! The beef and chicken burgers are seriously good! And I never go here without also getting some mac and cheese balls. You can choose from a great selection of craft beers on tap or from their huge beer fridge if you want to take away.

This is my favourite cheap eat in Kilburn and also the best Thai food I've had in London. It's a 12 minute walk away and great for takeaway. £5.50 pad thai, stir fries and curries cannot be beaten! Also try their prawn spring rolls!

This pub is the epitome of classic English pub - it's 400 years old! Wood panelling, fireplaces and large garden area, it feels very authentic and serves great food too. Little bit more expensive than other places but it's worth it if you want the authentic pub experience.

London has some top quality curry houses. This is a swish curry house with amazing theming and even better food. There are a few Dishoom's across London and if you're planning to try some Indian food while here, this would be my top pick. Normally the lines are pretty long and you can be told wait times of 90 minutes or more but usually it's a lot quicker than what's quoted and you normally get a place in the bar fairly quickly to have some seriously delicious cocktails while you wait. It's also not too hard on the budget.

Amazing taiwanese Bao and dishes. Great for a pre-theatre meal. They don't take bookings and lines start at about 6pm but generally go quickly!

Truly incredible Shawarma feed in a trendy area!! We could not get enough of this and was relatively well priced £20/each when we did shareplates and stuffed ourselves with food and had drinks. Try the interesting cocktails too! This is some of the best food I've eaten in London

Drinks & Nightlife

This craft beer microbrewery is a little bit out of the way (45 minutes from the place on public transport) but it serves my favourite beer - Beavertown Neckoil IPA. The brewery has tap days on Saturdays from 2-8PM, where you can get £2.50 beers from the tap or £2.50 cans to take away

This is a really fun night out - playing social darts while drinking yummy cocktails and eating yummy share food. Have been 3 times in the last month and still could go again. Booking ahead is a must! Discount available on Sundays.

Parks & Nature

Regent's Park is beautiful! Especially Primrose Hill. Apparently they used to be King Henry VIII's hunting ground. On a sunny day take a picnic to primrose hill and enjoy the sun with all of the other park goers!
