A beautiful gem on the outskirts of town. It is the best place to watch the sunset or freighters go by. You can also grill out or picnic here. I enjoy walking the perimeter of the isle for cliff views of Lake Superior or jumping off the cliffs at Blackrocks!

McCarty's Cove
While the freighters no longer dock at this ore dock, it is a pretty walk along the lakeshore and you can stop and get ice cream at the pavilion in the summer time
