You can't go wrong with seafood in Murrell's Inlet, but we've found the best selection and prices (and taste!) at Hot Fish Club. On the Inlet, lots of sights to see.

We bring guests here all the time. Well worth the price of admission. There are lots of props and photo ops. Everyone has enjoyed coming here. It changes often.
Get the bundle and go to the Maze/hall of mirrors. Hysterical! It took us forever to figure out where to go and we had a blast (all adults) Older kids and teens would have fun too.
The Zombie thing they have is not worth it, we don't suggest you pay full price,s but is included in the bundle, take about 5 minutes to walk through.

Golf carts are great, and not required
You can rent a golf cart through Ocean Lakes and they're great to get around in. Note that they are not required! We have a full size SUV and never have trouble finding a parking spot along the beachfront.

Water shoes in the Summer. The beach sand gets HOT!
The sand is hot in the summer, bring some water shoes or sandals.

Full Sized Washer and Dryer mean you can pack less!
Our home has a full sized washer and dryer, so you really can get away with packing less. Trust me, no one will realize you wore the same shirt three times during the week :)

Sharks at The Garden City pier very early morning
Wake up with the sun and head about 2 miles south to the Garden City Pier to see the sharks battling the fishermen for fish! Just be sure to go super early as the sharks are usually gone by 9 or so.

Small Walmart directly across the street
There is a Walmart neighborhood store directly across the street from OL entrance. You can place a pick up order, or pop in for groceries, etc. They have a pretty large selection of just about everything.
There is a "real" full sized Walmart up the same street about 1 mile.
