A beautiful medieval village leading down to the river Lot where water sports and boat trips are available. Also some nice little restaurants to be discovered, a children’s playground, a marche du producteurs each Wednesday, and a public swimming pool. Surrounded by local vineyards where you can sample and buy the produce.

We have been here several times. Adults and kids alike enjoy this unique experience with the monkeys running wild around you, gobbling up the popcorn from the tourists. It’s quite a drive (approx 1.5 hours) but Rocamadour has plenty of other attractions and restaurants to offer so it can be a good touristy day out.

This is the local village. It’s tiny but worth a look around at the exquisite medieval church and buildings. Hosts a massive bric-à-brac market 15th August each year.
