South Grade Road is called The Highway to the stars that leads all the way up to the famous Palomar Observatory which is only 12 minutes away from our property.
15 minute drive up the mountain will bring you to Palomar State Park with a pond for fishing and lots of hiking trails. Enjoy the cool shade of giant redwoods, a short trail through the forest to the old dam with a 10-foot waterfall, and wild berry picking along the way.
