The best sushi train we've come across. Walkin only but it's a fast turnover so a last minute decision is always ok! Fresh, tasty and easy on the pocket - win win!!

If the hustle and bustle of town is a little too much (aka summer) escape to the gorgeous Byron at Byron for a little TLC. There is a stunning new Day Spa and Forest Restaurant where you don't have to book for breakfast or lunch (bookings essential for dinner like everywhere else in summer).

Our favourite. This pristine coastline extends far and wide and is an absolute must. A safe beach for all swimmers and watch the surfers ride the clean waves. The water is clear and you can see fish, dolphins and even the occasional turtle.

This is a must however parking is a nightmare! Try to park closer to Clarkes beach and trek over - definitely worth it.

Well if it's surfing you're after, this is the place in Byron town. If your're not the surfer - just enjoy the waves, sand and gorgeous salty air - mother nature at it's best!

If you have a car, the Minyon Falls is a must. The view from Minyon Falls lookout is the best in the area - not only of the falls themselves, but on a clear day you might be lucky to see all the way out to the coast. From the lookout, watch the cascades flow over Minyon Falls to a deep palm-shaded gorge roughly 100m below. The tops of the cliffs are forested with Australian eucalypts, like blackbutt and scribbly gum. At the base of the falls is a beautiful natural pool that was made for swimming. Enjoy, relax and unwind.
