A 10 minute drive from the house is our local store where you can find just about everything you need from fresh produce, food, toiletries, flip flops, etc. It's a little pricey, but convenient. For a large food shopping, drive to Oakhurst for Vons, Raley's , restaurants, etc.

I volunteer there and can tell you that if you love animals, you will love taking a tour and meeting everyone! Pet an African Serval or a bobcat, hold a raptor, get kissed by Spring the fox, or cuddle with Jake the snake!

It’s famed for its giant, ancient sequoia trees, and for Tunnel View, the iconic vista of towering Bridalveil Fall and the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome. In Yosemite Village are shops, restaurants, lodging, the Yosemite Museum and the Ansel Adams Gallery, with prints of the photographer’s renowned black-and-white landscapes of the area.
If you have time, it's an absolute must!
