Sightseeing

US troops embarked from here for D-Day, visit the D-Day Centre, follow in Ben Ainslie’s wake and sail the Olympic waters of Portland Harbour, walk the South West Coastal path to the famous Portland Bill, keep an eye out for the local dolphins, Will & Harry! Chesil Beach protects us, all 18 miles of it. The Jurassic coast is the UK’S only natural UNESCO World Heritage site and your staying in the middle of it! Portland Harbour is the perfect stop for everything fun and floaty!

Portland Bill is a decent walk from the marina, but once you have got up The Incline it is down hill all the way and the rewards are many. It is not to be missed.
