An extraordinary collection of international modern art, including works of Anselm Kiefer, Jeff Koons, Lucian Freud and Damien Hirst. Sited in an extraordinary building at the seaside on Aker Brygge. Also a nice place to just hang out and look at peaople, stroll along the seaside, wiew the Oslo Fjord with ships coming in, and even get a bath at a small city beach close to the gallery!

Junction for ferries out to the nearby islands. Also a place with many restaurants and a shopping centre. Quite expensive though, because there's a lot of tourists here in the summer.

This is a huge sculpture park, designed and raised by one man: Gustav Vigeland. An enoumous project in its time, some would even say magalomaniac. Anyway, it's very impressive, and worth seeing!
