Take a picnic down to Lake Iroquois - nice swim spot on a hot day and beautiful spot for some canoe or kayak adventuring. Also nearby is Monkton Pond. One of our favorites - though further away in Barnard, is Silver Lake. There are so many lakes and ponds we cant list them all - but many are delightful to visit.
