Quaint recreation of a village from the Age of Homespun. It takes you back in time and gives kids (and adults) a glimpse of what life was like before machines took over. It's a delightful experience for all ages.

Some say it's where baseball was invented. Either way it's a good old-fashioned old ball field that makes you feel you've stepped back in time. (Plus, my backyard abutted the field growing up and we got lots of fly balls.

Go where the locals go

Cooperstown and the surrounding areas are among the friendliest around. Rather than going to Google or Yelp, ask someone who lives there where they like to eat/walk/play, etc. You will discover hidden gems and can avoid the crowds. I love to share my favorites but it helps to know what you are looking for. Feel free to ask.
