These guys are your best bet for legit thin crust Italian pizza. It’s straight out of Italy but with a hipster Okanagan twist. Bad Tattoo Brewing (Pizza) is Tratto’s crazier pizza cousin located just down the street – great option as well.

Located on Okanagan beach, you’ll find the perfect atmosphere here for casual dining for lunch and dinner, great for the whole family or for a few drinks to watch the sunset. Be sure to make a reservation and ask for a table on the patio on those beautiful summer nights.

Penticton is home to 5 craft beweries, but the Cannery has always had a piece of my heart! Nachos are a must, and kids are welcome. Neighbourhood Brewing is another great option for brews, fireplaces, a great patio, and tacos. Did you know Penticton is home to 5 craft breweries? Visit them all by following the "Penticton Ale Trail"

Celebrating or just feel like putting your fancy pants on? Elma a Turkish-inspired dining experience with an Okanagan flair with mezes (aka small plates) – perfect for sharing. It also has the best cocktails in town and a killer top patio with retractable roof overlooking the Lake. Reservations recommended.

Sightseeing

I think this is one of the best views in the Okanagan. Bike from town if you’re up for a challenge (40KM round trip – GLORIOUS downhill), or Park at “KVR Smethurst Road Parking Lot” for closer access (4.4km walk or bike from Smethurst parking lot).

Personally my favourite beach for swimming and water activities. Also has a great boardwalk. Okanagan Lake Park (North end of town) is also great!

Electric Bikes are my favourite way to explore town! Grab some rental e-bikes from Pegedo on Front St in Penticton. You can go from lake to lake, or just head up the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail for beautiful views, and while you're at it... might as well stop into some wineries!

Conseils sur la ville

Réservez avant de partir

Reservations recommended in peak season

In July and August, I would highly suggest making wine tour reservations and/or dinner reservations a few days ahead of time to avoid disappointment!
