Great for any season...summer beach weather or a reflective walk in cooler seasons often under an umbrella. In the summer paddle boards and kayaks can be rented from truck on the beach. Has a concession with fish and chips, burgers, etc.. Avoid the Boathouse Resturant although they have a great bar. Food overpriced and not great.

Fun because when the tide goes way out across a sand bar, great for walks and sunset watching. Also a bit of a Mecca for kiteboarding....fun to watch the acrobatics when the wind is up.
