Goolwa Wharf Markets every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
Worth the trip to see the seals, the boats going through the lock. Goolwa side of the lock is fresh water & the south eastern side is salt water. A bonus is you get a nice little walk in too. There is BBQs in the park area.

Sugars Beach, located on Hindmarsh Island and in the Coorong National Park, is a viewing spot to see where the Mighty Murray meets the ocean and also a great fishing spot. You can find The Coorong Cafe here and also Canoe the Coorong kayak hire.
The Murray Mouth is a narrow channel where a lot of water passes through. The Southern/Eastern side of the mouth is the Coorong and the Western side is the Murray River.

SteamRanger Heritage Railway operates a number of different heritage steam and diesel hauled tourist trains between Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills, up over the crest of the southern Mt Lofty Ranges, down to Strathalbyn and on through the coastal holiday towns of Goolwa and Port Elliot to the tourist resort town of Victor Harbor.
The Cockle Train is very popular steam train from Goolwa (Station is at the Wharf Presinct) to Victor Harbor.
You can hear the horns blowing from Britannia.
