China Peak Mountain Resort is located only 65 miles northeast of Fresno/Clovis at scenic Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. The mountain has 1,679 feet of vertical with a base elevation of 7,030 with a peak of just over 8,700 feet. The resort offers six chairlifts, a T-bar and three moving carpets for the beginner skiers and snowboarders. New for the 20/21 season is a tube hill, serviced by a 4th moving carpet. Now, locally owned and operated, China Peak Mountain Resort provides a big Sierra experience close to home - with total acreage, elevations, vertical rise and terrain comparable to many Lake Tahoe resorts. China Peak offers a variety of terrain parks for all ability levels. For those just starting out, our Progression Park in Ullmann's Alley is specifically designed for first time and novice riders. It is designed with special signage, fencing and features that will make your learning experience fun and exciting and will help you progress into intermediate freestyle riding. Our main park - Tollhouse Park - is served by Chair 4 and is by far the most popular, designed for intermediate and advanced riders. Park goers will find a variety of boxes and rails, as well as bigger jump lines, hips and spines. Finally, the Canyonlands is our skier and boarder cross area designed for family fun with a series of bank turns, rollers and jumps.
