Spectacular beach - soft, white sand. No waves and almost invariably quiet in the evenings. A glorious 20-25 minute walk along the coastal path.

Take the wonderful trek up to Stepper Point via the stunning coastal path. Not difficult, but quite steep in some places.

All sorts of water sports available - you can even arrange for them to collect you from our little harbour (although its easy to get to via the ferry). Great water-skiing in the estuary on still days and fun banana-boat etc experiences.

Food scene

The walk from Rock to Polzeath - via the beach at low tide and over the dunes at other times - takes 50-60 minutes. The bay is fantastic for surfers and body-boarders and the beach can get crowded in high summer. The Cracking Crab is a great place for lunch - early booking essential.

More relaxed than other Stein eateries, this small cafe/restaurant has a small but reliably good menu.
