Groceries

Get your groceries, in Prather, at the Mar-Val, before going up the mountain to Shaver. The markets on the mountain have extremely limited inventory.

Forest fire safety

Keep outdoor fires small and contained to a proper fire pit. Extinguish by soaking fully with water. The Central Sierra has been scarred and traumatized by fire in the very recent past. Please do your part to protect everyone from another wildfire.
