Spiagge

On the coastal road (ssp81) there are 8 “discese al mare” (also called “pettini”). I recommend you the 3rd (very close to the house, on the roundabout), the 6th and the 8th (our favourite, big parking, bar-restaurant and shallow water for kids). On Saturdays and Sundays (in the Summer) it’s better you avoid Platamona because it’s very difficult to park (unless you go early in the morning so you can find place to park.

apart from the marvellous “La Pelosa” (very very crowded with limited access → Google search for “La Pelosa Beach Restrictions”), you could go to the beautiful Saline Beach, Ezzi Mannu and Pazzona.

San Pietro a mare: our favourite for a family sunday stay! Not so close but it's definitely worth a visit. Good for weekends and sundays because you can always find a place to park (a miniature train will take you to the beach and when you phone will come to pick you up). Parasols, beach loungers, bar-restaurants. Near to the mouth of the Coghinas river. Your children will enjoy to catch fishes with small nets (Oasi Beach)! You can also try kayak and canoa along the river
