Shopping

Gritty, urban with a sort of an old hippy vibe. The small cluttered streets are filled with everything from little cafes, old European fruit and food markets to some of the funkiest retro clothes.

This is one of Toronto's hot spots, the place is tiny but so very stunning. Inspired by Gaudi, it has been called the most beautiful bar in Toronto and I have to agree, it is all that. Food is also highly rated, snacky tapas style... you won't be disappointed. Very busy and just up the from our house.

This is where Toronto hipsters and families head to for a picnic or some tennis time. Great off leash dog park and lots of restaurants nearby for takeout. One of downtown Toronto's largest greenspaces. With tennis courts, soccer fields and a farmer's market every Tuesday in the summer.
