One of the best view on Lyon is 'just' at the end of the street ... 'just' 10 minutes walk from home... But, yes, it's up the hill... Good luck! It's worth it! :)

One of the most known view on Lyon. From the flat, cross the Saone river, then walk across the Vieux Lyon Unesco area and if you want you can climb the hill on foot, otherwise, take the funicular! :)
