David Boyd is the creator and owner of Prime Berth, a popular fisheries museum in Twillingate. Boyd demonstrates cod splitting and offers tours of icebergs and whales during which visitors can try squid jigging and lobster trap baiting. After a 28-year teaching career, Boyd returned to fishing, which he's been doing for the past 23 years. David and his wife Christine recently won Newfoundland's Manning Award of Excellence in the Public Presentation of Historic Places.
David has the only two sei whale skeletons in Canada, which he put together himself.

Constructed in 1876, our lighthouse is definitely a must see attraction for visitors to the area. Located in Crow Head, it sits three hundred and thirty one feet above sea level! Stop by for a tour and take in the view, it will take your breath away, we promise!
