Best seafood! Unique and very international atmosphere! Not a restaurant – virtually as it says, a hut or shack, busy preparation goes on in front of your eyes inside the open 'hut', eating at tables and stalls outside, overlooking the ferry landing stages. Freshest seafood you can have at most agreeable prices.

Sightseeing

Amazing views, easy access by car or even a good local hike. Part of the Lochaber Geopark - famous for the Parallel Roads. Never crowded as not too well known but definitely worth a visit - and it is nearby!

The highest UK mountain. Hike up, often with hundreds of others on the day, and tick that iconic 'Munro' of your 'Must-do-when-in-the-Highlands' list. Beware and be well prepared – The weather can change rapidly during your climb and the snow falling in summer is not that unusual!

Quite a drive! And a beautiful Applecross at the end ... enjoy the visit there, then turn back and enjoy the drive in the opposite direction. Possibly not for drivers suffering from vertigo!
