Actually Polihale is in the district of Kona Ahupuaa, Kauai. Not in Waimea town Kauai. polihale temple is the whole beach, with a designated area called a heiau (temple) where old Hawaiians prayed.

Beautiful glass shards blanket the black sanded cove. It is disappearing slowly as people are carrying away ziplock gallons and buckets of sea glass. See it while it still there.

McArthur Park as the "signage says." Locals call "Left Lefts , Interz (intersections), first ditch , and second ditch" regarding the surf and location details... Is great for sunset & whale watching.
