The Art Institute of Chicago on Michigan Ave. is another iconic museum that I'm sure you've heard of. This is something I would carve out a few hours to explore as there is so much to see. I especially love the new modern wing designed by one of my favorite architects, Renzo Piano. It's bright, beautiful and sleek with such subtle yet well designed architectural elements.

This is something I would carve out a few hours to explore as there is so much to see. I especially love the new modern wing designed by one of my favorite architects, Renzo Piano. MCA - Museum of Contemporary Art just a short stroll East from the apartment. They always have cool events going on and really interesting exhibitions.. there is also a fun shop on the mail level which I always enjoy checking out & in the summers, they have a weekly farmers market outside.
